Remember our veterans on their special day. Their contributions and sacrifices are key to the lifestyle and freedom we all enjoy.
One of the things that never seem to change when it comes to military life is the occasional boredom of remote postings that offer little in the way of recreation or entertainment for weeks or months on end. I was reminded of that this afternoon when searching for pictures I could use as part of my recognition of Veterans Day 2014.

It's a lot easier to get reading material to our troops these days, but books are just as important as ever to their mental wellbeing. Keep that in mind and help out where you can.
